Limes House, built in 1993, is paired with neighbouring Oaks House. Here we encourage the Sixth Form to take responsibility for their own lives and learning and prepare them for the transition to the next step in their lives.
Mrs Hilary Phillips is Housemistress of Limes, having previously been Head of Ashdown House and Haberdashers' Monmouth School. Hilary lives with husband Jeremy and children Theo, Esme and Tilly. We also have dogs, chickens and a horse.
Mr Mark Aggrey is the Deputy Housemaster; he has been in the post since January 2021. Mark had a 23-year career in the Army. His other roles within the school include Head of Outdoor Education, Head of the Weekend Programme, Contingent Commander for the Combined Cadet Force, DofE Expeditions Officer and Assistant Educational Visits Coordinator.
Limes' Day Matron, whom we share with Oaks, is Mrs Kathyryn Farmer and the Resident Matron is Ms Bella-Marie McPherson-Daniel and like the rest of the team, including the wonderful domestic staff, are always on hand to help. Our Sunday Evening Matron is Miss Beverly Mortley.
